Help with patching Mechwarrior 4 !!!!!!!

I cant install any last update for mechwarrior vengeance or black knight....i always got a error message 0036.

I already make a fresh installation, delete entries on registry, everything that was possible and the problem persist.

I'm thinking that my source install cd is already cracked, or with some editing in ICD, because this, even when i make a fresh installation the .exe files are not with the original size and because this that i cant patch.

If someone send me the original .exe files for vengeance and black knight and i substitute the old ones will solve my problem ????

If someone can help me....im really desperate because i like this game a lot.
