holding eject makes lots of beeps but dose not open tray

after just in stalling my modchip going through the boot procedure using ar2 when you are to hold in the eject button for 5 seconds it just makes a lot of beeping and the lights are flashing but the tray dose not open.

the power light is orange or green no red anymore.

any ideas?

Do you have the mod chip installed correctly and do you have all the wires connected properly? Just a thought.

I am pretty sure. I have reinstalled it twice. The chip is all the way in and the cables can only go two ways. The big one and the smaller one. It really can't get a whole lot easier!!!

i wasnt sure if it was a soder chip or no? does it work fine without the chip in it? are you sure the chip is any good? Are you using the right chip in the right version of PS?

it's the right version no-sod mod. As far as the chip goes I hope it is no bad. It has to be the chip. it will play everything dvd movies and originals just when you hold down the eject button it makes a lot of beeping and wont eject. I order two modchips no sods v4 and a v5 no sod chip. They both dont work. 2 chips that don't work. I dont get it.

Well, I got my no soder chip and it works just fine. I only paid 9.99 for mine just incase. I didnt want to get taken no offense. Here is the site where I got mine. Best of luck.
