What Version Is My Console? Please Help!

Hi,
I have recently ordered my new Messiah ModChip from liksang.com. I was reading the instructions on how to set the jumpers. Of course, after reading numerous websites I figured that my PS2 was a PAL PS2 V4. However, today I saw that my model number ( which is 30003R ) was a v5. I seriously need help. I obviously need to get the jumpers set right. Any help would be great. If Charlie, or anybody at all is out there, Please Help. Any thoughts would be fantastic.

PAL PS2 (Model 30003R)

got everything on there, install pcs etc

crap, i forgot to say to see if its a version 5 check to see if it has the third screw in the expansion bay when you turn it upside down, otherwise it will be a v4

but definately sounds like a version 5 with that model number

It's probably a v4Rbased on when you bought it (as per your e-mail). The solder straps on the Messiah are for PAL or NTSC so it's not sensitive to v4/v5 etc.

If you're not a good solderer, consider having it done proefessionally. See my thread "PS2 Soldering Tips" and just wait till you get the Messiah!
