now i need to know a Cd-reader that supports RAW DAO & Sub-Channel Data, as stated on the GCW website

Do I absolutly NEED a cd reader that does Sub-Channel Data, or can i just have a liteon cd-writer that does it and use that to read the cd, copy to hdd, then to cd-r, i wanna make perfect 1:1 copies of games such as wc3, so on.
