Safedisk2
Hey, i need help to make a backup of Comanche4 (safedisk2). I have make
a crack of the game exe, but how do i burn it on one cd? When i replace the game exe the game seems to big for one cd? I have used Easy Cd and Nero I now i can make a "1 to 1 copy" and then copy crack to the inst. but i want to have it all on one cd. I dont have a Safedisc 2 compatible burner. Please help.

- don't use Easy CD Creator
- don't replace original exe's on a backup cd by cracked files. lots of game patches check whether the file to patch is original. create a directory 'crack' instead and put the cracked file there. after installation from your backup, you just have to move the cracked exe to your game directory, overwriting the original one.

Hi all,
Es gibt eine möglichkeit den no-cd crack mit auf cd zu brennen, sodass wenn das spiel von cd aus installiert wird, sich auch schon der no-cd crack automatisch mit auf die Festpaltte installiert. Der vorteil ist, dass die cd zum spielen schon nicht mehr erforderlich ist und man nachträglich keinen no-cd crack (extra) mehr benötigt. Tip: Es hängt mit den *.cab-files zusammen. PS: man sollte wissen was man macht und es auch schon öfters mal gemacht haben - nichts für anfänger  .mfg GSCA-Member

Hi,
also Schritt für Schritt nützt es dir nichts wenn ich es erkläre, denn wie schon gesagt, es ist nichts für Anfänfer. Man sollte es schon ein paar mal gemacht haben und auch wissen was man da genau macht. Du musst dich mit dem entpacken von exe-files auskennen denn meistens ist diese gepackt sodass sie logischerweiseerst entpackt werden muss damit man sie später durch den no-cd crack ersetzen kann. Ein grosser Vorteil, wenn man es kann ist, dass man danach eine CD hat, die man einfach ohne clonecd brennen kann, da sie auch keinen Kopierschutz mehr enthällt. Quote:

Nachteil dabei:
Wenn du patchen willst und der Patch macht nen CRC-Check musste die original .exe so oder so wiederherstellen.

Weiß ich doch, Monty.
Trotzdem sollte man heutzutage wenigstens halbwegs gut englisch sprechen können. I know, Monty. But i still think a certain knowledge of the english language is very important nowadays.

Na klar. Perfekt ist mein Englisch bestimmt nicht, aber ich denke, man kann verstehen, was gemeint ist.
Das z.T. schlechte Englisch kann man noch einigermaßen verstehen, ich finde allerdings, dass die meisten Posts einfacher zu verstehen wären, wenn einige nicht ohne jeden Punkt alles durchschreiben würden. Of course. My english is far beyond being perfect, but I think it can be understood. The partly bad english can be understood somehow. I think the posts in which the posters talk nineteen to the dozen without using any punctuation marks are a lot harder to understand. Tambien hablo un poco de espanol y/et je parle un peu de francais. How the hell do you get the special ~ onto the n in espanol ? Okay, enough said, I think thread will be closed, or at least these "off topic" posts will certainly be deleted.
