Morrowind - Videos doesnt play

Hi...i have the US version of Morrowind and used the patch and the NOCD crack for the patched version. The game is working,but the videos(intro,logos etc) wont show up. I copied the Video folder in the Morrowind folder ...but dont work.

I used the search function and there was a thread which says that there was a sticky to this problem. Unfortunaly i cant find it anmore. It would be great if anyone can help me out with this...Thanks.

Kinda depends on whether the producers of this no-cd crack took the time to fix video requests as well.
If they didn't, and the game always looks to the cd for them, then it won't matter where you copy them to.

My advice is to use Daemon tools every time to mount images. You'll always get perfect gaming results with no messy cracks. and of course official patches will always work.

Right, I had the same problem you had and I found out that only the first no-cd patch for 1.1.0605 (no-cd #1) allows the videos to play. It is rather big (it's the full executable) but it's the only one on GCW that plays the videos for me.

Copy this one over your existing executable and tell me if it works for you.

@rincewind : Yeah i tried this crack before too..but always got a no-cd error.
nevertheless i treid it again from another fileserver and it worked tgis time..dunno why

. But at least its working.
