Dont believe such bullshit. First *.cdi images are created by Adaptec EasyCDCreator or try DiscJuggler.

if you got an image made from DJ,you can convert it to burn in nero with..........cdi2nero.
it works because if you have a mitsumi 4804te burner,you`ll need it with some DC games
