No. The problem is with the DBD Burner not being DA0-RAW+96 compatible which is a pre-requisite for 1:1 CD copies. This function copiews the RAW blocks (2352 bytes) + 96 bytes subchannel data which is where copy protection is put.

Prassi Primo is closest you'll get

Prassi Primo is the best you'll get. You'll still need a modchip solution to play the DVD-R, but you'll need that for CD-R as well (unless you want to ruin your machine with more shady methods.)

The only other prog's I know of that can do anything remotely like a 1:1 type of backup are SmartRipper (Backup or Ripping utility) or DVDx (SVCD/VCD/AVI Encoding), but these are essentially "Rip" utilities for DVD Movie CD's--I don't know if they would be useful in backing up PS2 DVD's.

Good Luck!

Raist
