Quake 3 help
I have a backed up version of Quake 3 and I installed it along with updating it to 1.31. My prolem is now the game reports an error when starting and won't load up. I had this problem before and I read on the forums that I had to delete a file or two before installing the 1.31 patch and that did work. I can't locate the post now so if anyone can offer any help that would be great.

Perhaps u made,or have, a bad backup?? I made a backup a while ago now and everythings still cool even under winxp and the 1.31 patch.
I've never heard or read anything about having to delete some files to get the game to run.

I never had any problems with my backup and never heard of deleting files either.... Try making another backup and if it does the same try your orininal and if it still happens i guess you have an incompabilty problem.
