Game Wizard Plus

Anyone willing to help a green horn out or point me in the right direction for more information?
I have the boot disc (game wizard plus), but do not know the sequence for playing backup.
Also must I apply the patch when using backups, when using a boot up disc or is the patch only not needed with an internal mod?
I know I have a lot of reading to do, but could not find this info with the search icon.

Thanks
jle

you will have to patch if the game is protected else you will get the software terminated screen.

game wizard disk

Thank you for the replies. I have been to pskcopyworld and it was a big help, but putting everything together 1st time. On the backups I made with clonecd, everthing seems to be in place when comparing disks with pc.
I think my problem is this boot disk.
I ordered a modified psone from vdo specialties, 30 days later I received a new psone and a game wizard boot disk with no instructions (no other hardware other than memory card). When I boot up with disk all I get is please insert a formatted playstastion disk on the screen.
The sleeve the disc was in states compatible for all psx 9000 series. I have a scph-101. Any suggestions other than ask questions before you buy and look for another source. I will not purchase from above source again.

Thanks
jle
