warcraft 3 no-CD/fixed .EXE doesn't work

well...i've tried to make it so that i can play my warcraft 3 without the CD. i've done everything as is listed on the page...i've installed "warcraft 3" on full....i've downloaded the thing...and i've TRIED to replace all the files. however...i keep getting a file that has a ".ace" extension, and it just isn't working for me! so...i'm begging you....

HAS ANYONE GOTTEN IT TO WORK?

did you unzip the .ace file?

thanks so much! now i won't have to worry about my precious CD...oh my precious...uhh...i..mean...uh...yeah...of course i'm not obsessed with the game....uhh....bye?
