Burning RAR'S

I am burning off some of my .rar files to my games and was just wanting to know how bad the disk can be scratched before the rar files or the cd can't be read any more?

How long's a piece of string?
You can't tell where the line between readable and unreadable is.
But I suppose RAR files may be more vulnerable to CRC errors etc - so keep the scratches to a minimum

something like 2.3 mm. i cant remember the exact number. it has to do with what the error correction can make up for, though.
