Lol 64...what a funny system...basically no rpgs, no strategy, missing a few other genre's entirely..I basically hated the system as a whole because it had nothing to offer, the problem with it was that it DID have some good games(like many others), I hate all those flopped systems or just so-so systems that have some good games, but even some of the crappiest systems have a few signature games that are great but are solo'd out for that system...thats one of the only things the 64 had for it, other people probably liked the system more, but it was shortlived and playstation was still probably killing it even being older..so uh anyways Ill go click my vote =P

PS1 is said to have half the graphical limits of N64 yet Playstation comes up with games with graphics just as good. And playstation has much better games. N64 is ok for the beginning gamer, but Playstation is for the advanced gamer, looking for some good games.

Playstation - N64 is great, little kids love there intendo.

One game I played on the N64 all the way through - Conker's Bad Fur Day.

this is a playatation forum, but let's be realistic...N64 blows Psx out of the bleedin water!!! Playstation was good at: cinemas, 2-d gameplay...drawing a blank here

Nintendo was good at: immersive 3-d environments, superior sound (Let's see Psx put out dolby surround), flawless control physics on all in house titles, unique gaming experiences.

I don't mean to be a fanboy, but look at Perfect dark, and then medal of honor: there's no comparison. Top all of that off with an absence of loading times and you have a solid system with the best analog stick to date.

Bottom line: Sony is the hollywood of video games- it's flashy, and usually entertaining. But if you are tired of the same old formulaic games, nintendo is the independent film festival you've been looking for: it may be odd or hard to understand or VERY Japanese, but it will be a unique game.
