multi-region
I want to buy a new DVD drive in UK. But are there stil any that have have mutli region etc.
Are there tools for this, which drive shud i buy, and where from. Plus, where can i get the tools. thanks

The Toshiba dvd-roms are usually considered to be good. I have got a sd-m 1612 and I am happy with it. It is not a multi-region drive but it can be flashed with a new firmware to become one.
You should get almost all kind of firmware at http://perso.club-internet.fr/farzeno/firmware/
