Recently when i was using DVDextrator the image file I was extracting was upto about 96% then the recorder slowed right down and failed.

This a also happened with CDcopy once, I dont think its a space problem, I'm using a new G4imac with a superdrive and well over 45gig left.

any thoughts

never had that happen with dvd-extractor sorry, but I say u need to clean the disk your ripping from.

scratches can cause that to happen within cd-copy. allthough the transfer slows right down it allways seems to get there in the end, I have had this happen with SSX snowboarding, the disk was very dirty.
