Pal -> Ntsc Help!

Im new.. so pls be patient..
how do u use those patches in DC copyworld (pff files or something).. or what program do i use?
Also does anyone know any good program that can patch it automatically.. like the PAL patcher.. ??

By the way does pal patcher converts pal games to ntsc?.. coz thats what im after as well.

Patching a game is quite easy. Use PPF-O-Matic. You can find it here : http://www.megagames.com/dc/dc_ppf.shtml

You'll often need to have the original file in order to apply your patch. If you don't have it anymore, try to make an iso using the same burning program than the one your patch was made for (for example, DiscJuggler if the patch needs a CDI file, or CDRWin if it needs an ISO or BIN file).

Run PPF-O-Matic, select your patch and your iso and then just apply the patch.


PAL Patcher should convert some 50 Hz games to 60 Hz (the latest version should convert also 60 Hz to 50 Hz). But it's first purpose is to have some games works on PAL DCs.

Except PAL Patcher, I don't know many programs that automatically patch files. You might try PAL2NTSC. It might work.

So that means i have to have the original ISO.. (bin, cdi etc?)

Can't i create my own ISO.. using Discjuggler or CDRwin.. then apply the patch.?

With CDRWIN.. how do u copy or extract DC (bootable games with multisession)??? it always says that it does not support it??
Other programs like Nero and DiscJuggler works... but i really want to use CDRWIN.. so i can apply the patch.. coz the patches seems to want BIN files.

You can recreate your own ISO.
That's what I wrote.
But if you don't have the same program version, the patch might not work.

IT DOESN'T SUPPORT MULTISESSION.
So you can't.


You won't be able to work with selfboot games using CDRWin.

Is there an NFO file with your patch ?
It should tell you how to apply your patch.

Is there a fix for Fatal Fury (mark of the wolves)
im running it in 50 hz.. i would like to run it in 60hz so i can get rid of those annoying borders..

iv got a PAL Dreamcast and im not sure about Fatal Fury coz its a backup copy. (all i know its an english version)

do u think if i get the jap version.. would that likely run in 60hz?

I've got no idea.
There's no patch on DC Copy World.

Maybe you should try PAL Patcher, but it's bound not to work...

do u know any for PAL.. coz i need a variety

planetweb.dreamcast.com doesnt seems to work on mine.. is it because their saves are US version??.. does it make any difference.??
