Tomb Raider 3 ..HELP PLEASE SOMEONE ??

I know.. very old problem ? I've read everything that is to know about making a backup of this game but instead created 12 beautiful coasters !!! I've tried using CDRWIN, CLONECD and NERO but all I get is a either

A) The screen hangs at the Playstaion logo or
B) it goes past the logo but ended up with a blank screen !!

I know it's been said in a hundred places that there is no protection on this and all other TR games but have I haven';t actually seenone post that says ,. yes I've done the backup successfully !! anyone ????

I;ve backup my one other game - TR-Chronicle - no probs !!!

Can someone plesae help if you've successfully backup TR3 ?

PS : I've got a mod chipped PS2.. other games play OK

use these clone cd settings

make a image with clone cd

set read speed to 1 or 2x
read subchanel data from data tracks
read subchanel data from audio tracks
abort on read errors
every thing else should be grayed out

to burn the image

set write speed to 1 or 2x
select RAW DAO
select dont repair subchannel data
unselect simulate writing (if available)
select burn proof/just link (if available)
unselect perform laser power calibration(if available)
unselect wait until buffers are full (if available)
select always close last session

happy playing

Yep i am on of the lucky ones then because i have back up the whole series of tomb raider without any probs.
Just a after thought what are you using to read the disc with?
Cos if it's a dvd like what is the norm now,even though the device may be supported by clone there are very few that read sub-channel data/audio so you will never get a back-up to work.
Only toshiba and lite-on dvd's work with sub-channel that i know of off the top of my head.
I used a ricoh 7083a to read and write with but have since backed up with my lite-on dvd/lite-on 24/10/40 r/w with no probs.
Hope this helped solve some questions?

I must be sh..t out of luck guys!! I've tried your suggestion
buzzon , no joy. I tried backing up with HP CDW Series 9100 and
series 7200 , used , NERO, CLONECD , CDRWIN....ahhhh.

Get burnt successful message each time but hey, each time it's either the frea...g Logo or blank screen !!!!

Nevermind guys, I've got the original so just hope my kids don't damage it like they already did with 2 other different games cd ...

in total = 16 coasters !!! make good decorations.....

Thanks all for their input , any other suggestions welcome but I'm not going to loose sleep over it !!!

what kind of media (cdr's) are you using, go here http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk and download clony xl and scan the disk for read errors.
