Problem with Counter strike!!

Hiya all, I had recently downloaded and upgrade for counter strike from 1.4 to 1.5.

I downloaded it perfectly but I think I may have installed it abit wrong.

whenever I try to connect to a server it keeps saying that I dont have the right protocol so could I please upgrade to the latest version of counter strike.

so what I was wounder was if someone could help me, point me to the right direction or tell me what to do.

I surely hope you can help me!

64MB NVIDIA GeForce2 MX

all i need for gaming, maybe a better one then the GeForce2 MX
