Nero

I've been having a slight problem with nero.

Sometime when I burn data CDs, the programs works well , however when I look at the files that I've burned I see that they have no extension. their extension is just "File" which is quite annoying if you are trying to copy programs, zips files and that sort of thing.

have I forgotten to do something.pls help

Maybe your files that as you say have no extention are files that are too long, above 31characters(i think this is the limit). So if you burn these files, nero will shorten the name of the file automaticly, by cutting the file extention!! Nero usually shows you a warning message.
I am just making a quess here, this is probably it. Hope I helped you.
