Thanks scamper!
Is there no way to copy a video dvd over 4,7 GB? Isn't possible to rip only the language I want and so to reduce the space needed on dvd? |

check the size of the .vob, i believe. most dvd's are larger than 4.7 gb, which is the only copy protection method the mpaa has right now.

i know a better way. just download the divx movie file on the net. extract the audio to a wave file with virtual dub and start TMPGEnc. select the right project and load the avi file in the movie section and the wave file in the audio section. then go forward and select what the quality should be. best is around 4000 bit. the encoding cost about 10 ours and finaly you get a mpg2 file of around 2,5 gb and burn it with Sonic Mydvd or ulead dvd movie factory
