Need help about my drives, ideas? stack in 10x

I use a sony reader and a ricoh writer both tested by nero cd speed show 10x (Sony-cdu5521--Ricoh MP7125A). I've changed cables, changed some cmos settings but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?
