Not confused anymore :-)

Ok, well thx if you tried to help but figured it out myself... ;-)

For the those with the same problem this is what to do.

Download patch update V. 1.0.1.15 and install the update from the commanche 4 folder (.exe) file.

Then download the Commanche 4 v.1.0.1.15 [US]Eng Fixed exe. then replace it with the existing exe file in the folder (you may want to copy/cut the existing file somewhere safe....)

Thats it and commancge 4 is up and running...

Good Playing ;-)

It's good that you worked out a solution to your problem via the crack. However, FYI in case you didn't know already, a true 1:1 backup should not require the need of a crack to play from it, unless, you wish not to have the CD in the drive, etc.

1:1 copy??

Ok, so what would you recommend to be able to use 1:1 back up copies, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't :-(

I generally use copy protection 2000 and clone cd 4 to do my back ups, but depending opn the games, sometimes after install when using my back up it doesn't recognise the media and asks to put the cdrom in??

So what am I doing wrong??

Well, achieving a 1:1 copy of a now currently dupeable protection, is dependant on software and hardware, that is, you need the appropriate hardware (i.e burner/reader/media) combination and the right software to work with the hardware (i.e. clonecd, blindwrite, cdmate, etc, etc, etc).

First, you need to determine if your current software and hardware meet the above criteria and then, as with most else, do some reading, research the matter for yourself, then proceed to the trial and error phase, from which you will ultimately know what will work best for you and your particular setup.

Also, use a good protection scanner (i.e. clony, yaps, etc).

I suggest, you use this forum's search feature, most if not all, your questions will be answered.

Very good point, most definitely a must!

However, if you must use a writer, make sure to hide the ATIP!
