Messiah install problem HELP!!

After installing the m chip we loaded booted it up and nothign came up. just
a blank screen, we could not eject or anything, just switch off or reset, it
was only on for a few secs! turn it off right away!

now we desoldered the m chip and we can get as far as the browser screen,
however it won't boot any disks now! the PS2 currently has no mod in it. and
it still won't boot originals!
is that bad? i think it is

any advice would be great!

model SCPH-30002...

chances are that you destroyed the DVD/CD controller chip with a short or something.
