Anyone purchased from lik-sang?
I'm just wondering if anyone in the united kingdom have purchased from lik-sang. The main question is if the customs actually make you pay a sales tax. I hav been told that any internet shopping imported in the uk over 35 pounds sterling are subjust to pay 20% tax or something.
Is this true?

if they catch the package and the value is over a certain limit, you'll pay import tax and sales tax.
lik-sang will often write a lower value on it anyways so it usually slips through, but you should request it just to be sure.

Hey Teddy, one thing i can tell you is that when you get something from aboard over the internet, your'e liable to pay tax, as in customs .
I mean i haven't got anything from Lik-sang yet, but i got some stuff from Amazon (USA) and i had to pay tax, no question. But i paid the delivery guy that got the goods for me. so what am saying that it is very likely that you will have to pay tax. |

items over £18 are liable for import duty
items with GIFT clearly written on the package over the price of £36 are liable for import duty DHL will pay the import duty as it come in then add another £15 for collecting the Duty DO NOT SHIP WITH DHL Items imported using normal overland mail are often missed by customs. Unless in packets that have the cost printed on the outside! |
