Messiah with V3
hey
i have a question i want to have my Pal V3 chipped with a messiah chip. but i hear from a lot of people that the V3 cant play DVD-r and they say its better for me to take a neo 2.2 chip but i dont want that chip coz i have to boot then. will i still be able to watch DVD movies ?? thanx

the V3 DOES work for DVD-R, especially when you didn't install a neo 2.x before. if it was modded before, chances are that the laser is damaged and will not/rarely play DVD-R. in your case, you'll have no problems. I had a messiah in a V3 as well and it played dvd-r perfectly fine.
