A very strange state

I bought my ps2 second hand so i was never sure exaclte what v type it was or what type of chip it had. On the outside it says spch150000 but when i go to system configurations it says it is a spch100000. I don't understand. Any help would be gre

I've got two 15000s - one says 10000 on Sys Config and the other says 15000 and the difference is whether or not you have reloaded th eBIOS from the Utility Disk.

other than that, there's no operating difference that you would notice.
