Burning WE 6 backup help

I recently had a phantom 2 mod chip installed in my PS2 to allow me to play WE 6. I got all of the info on the chip and had it installed at www.vdo-specialties.com. Anyway, I burned a backup of WE 6, but it is not working. I load up my ps2 with gameshark ver.2 click start games and with out codes. I then put in my copy of backup copy of WE 6 and absolutely nothing happens. Anybody have any idea what I am doing wrong?
