Question Spyro The Dragon Won't copy

I have a p3 600 with a plextor PX-W2410A and a original Spyro The Dragon for PS1 I have copied CD's before but this one stops at 91 or 92% and hangs. It then comes back with an error saying cannot read DATA sectors 24794 thru 257930.
I have tried CDRWIN 4, CloneCD, Nero, all with the same result. This game is really being a pain in the ass, any and all help would be greatly welcomed

well by the sound of thing your original copy is damaged or dirty. did you check the cd to make sure that there was no dirt, dust, finger prints ect. on the cd befor you tried to copy it. if it was fairly clean did you use clony to scan the cd for read errors(i do this every time befor i copy a game) if not you can get it here http://www.clonecd.net/protection.htm
if the game has read errors that means that the disk is damaged and you will need to try a disk repair kit or get a different copy of the game.
