How Can I Back Up Gunman Chronicles?

I MADE A BACK UP FOR GUNMAN CHRONICLES BUT WHEN I REPLACED THE .exe FOR A CRACKED ONE, IT SAYS "YOUR .exe HAS BEEN MODIFIED, REINSTALL THE GAME OR CHECK THE PC FOR VIRUSES"

MY PC HAS NO VIRUSES FOR SURE.

I TRIED A COUPLE OF CRACKED .exes BUT NONE OF THEM WORK

WHAT CAN I DO?

I made straight copy of it as well. But I had the problem of being able to install the game but not actually run it due to SECUROM protection I think. The UK Crack on Gamecopyworld fixed this. Can play the game now,or rather used to play its not that good, with no cd in the drive, try the UK Crack. Cant remember who did the crack but it is labelled something like UK Version.
If you are playing, or attempting to play it, on Windows Xp, maybe thats your problem. Ive heard, and read on here, that on Windows Xp its difficult to apply cracks to games cause problems will arise.

Just delete the GUNMAN.DAT and the self check will be gone.

only need to do this once, the gunman.dat will be created every time you start the exe.
