Dungeon Siege .exe removed? Is there a character editor?

I was just wondering if anyone knew why the Dungeon Siege fixed exe was removed? It worked fine for me. Is there a bug or some other problem?

Also does anyone know if there is a character editor yet for this or if someone is working on one on a fansite or something? Like what was done with Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale?
