AOE 2 ConQUERORS Multi Player No CD Crack 1.0c

Hi can anyone help me with this problem i am having i downloaded the conquerors no cd crack for the updated version 1.0c but when i go to play over the net in tcp/ip with my friend it asks for the cd even though i have the orginal in the cdrom ?
the orginal wont play with out the cd crack in there on XP pro as its a crappy OS but good for other things.
any how when it loads everything is ok till i got to start the game it asks then any one know what the off set is to nop this ?
i have had a look at the file but can't find the string ref to the popup can some one help its the only way i am going to be able to play the game over the net please help if you can thanks
