Grand Theft Auto 3 DVD-CD RIP Prob

I used the DVD-CD Rip package(megagames.com/ps2/files/Gta3fix.zip) and ripped the files (iso) using isobuster to HDD and then unzipped the file to c:\cd\ and then used "make.bat" (came w/ zip) to convert gta3.iml to gta3.iso, but the iso file generated is always larger than the cd space 700mb, and if i dont stop it, it continues spawning files that take space. I left it on for about 2 hours and it came to be 25GB! I even tried editing the iml file so it reads directly from the DVD drive, and the other dummy files from the HDD, but it wont work, because after I replaced the dummy files with blank files (see gta3 dummy list) the generated image (.iso) is only 57x.mb not 4.xxGB. This file will not work bec the protection detects the size? I ve created others with image 4.xGB, but it always fail on 98%. The disc reads in the PC as 4.xGB and finished, but wont work with PS2. I have GS and Modchip.
