I download the Utopia Boot CD, but it will not work on my system. I took it to a friends and it worked on her system, made 7-2000.

HKT-3020

for those who have hkt3020. My suggustion for you is bad luck.
Hopefully It doesn't manufactured dec 2000 because if it is then it won't work. System that manufactured Oct 2000 and up, isn't going to work. One way you can do it is that if you know how to use or modchip it. I don't know how, but I am trying right now.

I've seen something that can help you:

http://www.megagames.com/dc/dc_backup_faq.shtml#6.1

Here are instructions to burn utopia boot cd for NON-MIL dreamcasts.

Try it.

I hope it helps you.

help is required

Hopefully, now all ya's. Must understand that New Dreamcast release are created not to play import games, for you need to know the installation of the modchips. Burning an't working unless you how the modchip is installed.

Megalexxx is on a distinguished road
Before modchipping anything, did you try Bin2Boot method ?
I've heard these new DCs only detect Audio/data format, but they will boot Data/Data games.
