Help trying to backup Carmagedon TDR2000 please?

Hi, i am having a problem trying to make a backup copy of carmageddon TDR 2000. I am using CloneCD and so far have wasted about 5 CD's trying to make a backup of this game
Everytime i have failed i have changed settings but still fail when on the writing section at 69% done. I get this error message report :-

Writing to CD failed, Hardware Error: Track Following Error (4:0x09:0x00) ????????????

Is it a problem with CloneCD being unable to do this game or is it a problem with my CD burner which is :-

LG CD-RW CED-8080B 32x12x8 re-writer. Cannot do DAO-RAW mode only SAO-RAW mode's.

Any help would be appreciated on this. Thanks....

I'm gonna take it round to a m8's and see if he would be willing to make me a backup using his phillips re-writer (though i would also know he would want a copy for himself) but hell such is the price of getting a backup copy, then so be it. As i have already lost 5 yes 5 CD's to scratch's and i aint paying £15 for a new CD to be sent out only after 3-6months of originally forking our £30-£35 for the game in the first place which is why i am backing up my games at this moment in time.

well i did this a while back, did you use the recommended settings by CLony?, anyway it is protected with SD1 so i think soa should do it!

To see if it is your image that is at fault then get daemon tools and then load the image and then play the game from the image. IF it works then the problem is whwen you are writing it!

It could be a hardware prob but i am not sure but it is unlikely that it is clonecd's fault, but it could be. Check out their website to see what they say about your cd burner!
