Question copy dvd 1 on 1

Hy i am new here.
My father has a hp dvd-rw, is it possible to copy a dvd from a normal dvd drive to the dvd-rw ?

yes you can but the film must be under 4.7gb in length.
use software like prassi or nero to copy an image of the dvd and then burn it...

all links to dvd rep are dead.
can't find the program any were.

Unhappy Can copy dvd bigger than 4.7GB

It's said there is solution to breach the limit of 4.7 GB, you can try DVDCutter Stream and Mp3CDWav Converter
You can download it from www.jummpa.com
But you must own a dual-layer DVD-R OR DVD-RW, this point can't be omitted
