i have already asked this but need definate answer pls
it has 30003 on the back 8 screws on the bottom no screws in expansion bay and a plastic cover with a metal plate so i presume this would be version 4 ?and does not have hazard stamped on the base. i use ar2 v2 i understand this will play dvdr games with the correct boot method but will it play movie dvdr thanks |

no electrical no screws expansion sounds like v3 to me

I rarely disagree with Dust, but a v3 has 10 screws on the bottom. So it is a v4.
If you know how to make a movie DVD-R (which is a reverse engineering process on the DVD Movie) then yes - it will play that as I have one here thanks to someone with whom I rarely disagree!

thanks guys heres another quick question ,ive just bought another ps2 this has 8 screws on the bottom no hazard stamp serial 30003 r ,plastic cover and screws in expansion bay so would i be right in thinkin this is a v5 ?

yes it is a version 4. version 1,2,3, have 10 screws on the bottom
