Search this forum for "Serial/Slave" and or "RIPPING". You'll find more than you ever wanted to know about the only method available for copying original Sega GD-ROM discs.
Bottom line is that you cannot (NEVER EVER) copy a Sega Dreamcast GD-ROM using a standard CD-R/CDRW drive. It's impossible because the disc holds up to a gigabyte of data and the only part that's readable by your CDRW drive is a small boot session that's a couple of meg in size. It's a very intricate and drawn-out process to copy them using a serial connection between your PC and Dreamcast and hacking and downsampling the files just may not be worth it. Just search the Internet for the appropriate game's ISO files and download the already hacked game. Just don't ask where to find game ISOs here, or you'll be banned from posting by the moderators. |

I've been trying to copy that game since last night. Right now, tera term says it's copying
track=9 start sector=195141 size=18665 file: track09.raw.gz The problem I have is that I dont know where it's saving. I checked all directories in Dreamrip with no .gz files. I searched for it using the windows 'Find' and It was no where on my PC. |
