help, ps2 not turning on

HI, i need some help. I opened my ps2 up to install that no mod chip, but i couldn't find the ribbon. i decided to put it together and look for the ribbon on another day. well, i tried to turn the ps2, but it wouldn't turn on. i need some help. can anyone help me? thanks

first check u have plugged all cables back in
check u not broken any wires
if thisis all ok my guess would b u damaged silver foil cable that goes to the power tray open buttons

dust 2 dust, if the silver cord is damaged, how should i get it fixed?
