Hi, I am new here, glad to meet ya.
I have a chipped PSX and I am able to read my originals using cdrwin, but since it does not recognize my hp 8290 rw drive , i have to use something like fireburner to burn them. but they all turn out fine. This is my problem..... I got an emu that supposedly runs on the PSX. It is an NES emu called Pnesx. Has anyone been able to get this thing to work? I used a program to create rom directories and an ini file and it all seems kosher but it doesn't pop on. I used the sony cd license program to license it and still no go. I later made an iso and then used another program to license the iso using a Pnesx.exe that was not licensed using the sony tool like the other try. Still no worky. Here is what the iso contents look like: Roms (folder) Pnesx.exe Romlist.ini system.cnf I also made another one after that didn't work adding the license.dat and using an unlicensed Pnesx.exe and then licensed the iso image... . strike 2 or 4 whichever it was..Maybe it is the Pnesx.exe file or just that I realy don't know how it works. ie user error....Does anyone have a working version? If so, how do I, where do I go about getting that? I do not need any roms whatsoever just a working image if possible sans roms or not. Also, does anyone know of a Sega Master Sys emu that works from a cd without having a pc to psx cable? Believe me I have searched and I have found 0... Thanks and sorry for being long winded. Please Message or mail any help that you might be able to offer. CameLion |

goto http://www.cdrsoft.net and enter there site goto downloads and then goto cdr software , then goto ahead and download nero 5.5.7.2 they also have the crack on there site .
the files should be placed in a folder like you have liad them out in your post. now when you load nero select the iso tab and select iso level one and then select mode 2/XA iso and check that joliet is marked then got the write cd tab and write at any speed although slower is better. after that put the cd in your PS2 and it should boot up. you do this for both of the emulators . the nes one is slow and i don't think it has sound , the SMS one is slow and the sound is messed up but they do run the games. watch out though as you cannot add any games to them both and some of the games on the nes one don't work. I have heard on a site that someone is developing an SMS emulator for the PS2 and its working and just needs a few touches will let you know when its finished ok
