Question data vs audio cd-r disks

What is the difference between cd-rs labeled "data" and "audio" disks or is there a difference? I want to use them for music and program back-ups.

Mate, if you would read just TWO MESSAGES DOWN from the one you posted, you'd find the answer to your question. Please refrain from posting questions that have already recently been answered.

Unhappy

Sorry, I did not understand that they were talking about "Music" as "Audio" and that "Normal" meant "Data". I will try to decipher these posts better next time.

Thanks for a response.

well - how can an audio cd and a music cd seem different to someone. Not a lot of "deciphering" needed.

I'm para-phrasing Lanaka - that's pretty much the word he used.
