US v5-which chip for DVD-r?

Here's the deal, I just got a new v5 on sunday here in the US, and I want to chip the thing to run DVD-Rs and CD-Rs since I have both types of burners. I'd read about the Messiah chip, but heard that it was no longer sold because of something Sony did. Anyway, which is the best chip for a v5 guy in the US with a DVD burner? Thanks.

I have both the R-mod and the x-key dvd chip on two seperate v5 PS2's. I like them both, The r- mod doesn't work well with dvd rips but works great for dvd-r and cd-r backups. Origa-chip is another option and is the best chip of the three however i dont think it supports the NTSC v5 board yet.
