SBox Mod....etc

Just wondering what I am missing out on. I have the external mod that plugs in my usb and has Sbox on it. Then I use the Gameshark 2. I have to boot GS2 then start game....without codes...then insert backup and hit X on most games. Some I have to do the ol R1 plus circle, but that's ok with me. A buddy of mine hooked me up with everything for about 50 bucks including a gameshark of his. I haven't come across a game that I could not play yet, but of course I am only experienced in playing cd-r backups. Just got Virtua Fighter 4 and what a great game. I have a couple ripped versions of DVD games like THPS3 and DOA2, etc... They seem to work fine. I am getting ready to get my brother PS2 done and I was wondering if I should go another route. Any info is appreciated and thanx for listening. If the list of games that I can play will be greater with another mod, that is what I am looking for.
