Yamaha CRW2100EZ and CDRWIN
Hi all, I have the Yamaha CRW2100EZ (16x 10X 40X 40X) For some reason, CDRWIN will see the burner as a reader but not a recorder, so I can't burn nor copy with either one. I also have an Acer and HP CD burner and CDRWIN sees them both. I tried updating the ASPI drivers but I get an error saying that I don't have qualified Adaptec soft and hardware installed, that's not true because I installed Easy CD creator from the pack-in software. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. =)

On CDRWin: You may need to update it, as it was out before the Yamaha drive, and therefore won't recognize it.
On Adaptec: You most likely have the OEM version of adaptec software, and it is looking for the Full Retail Version.8-)
