Toshiba SD-R1002 anyone have this

Anyone have any experience with this cdrw/dvd rom for the computer. Just wanted know if it is worth getting since it is two in one. Any info on it would help.

My friend has one because he had only one slot left, and he's happy with it.
The only bad thing about it is that it aint clonecd compatible unlike other toshiba's dvd readers.

If that is the only thing then i should go ahead and get it cause i dont use clone cd anyhow, i use cd copier with the adaptac. Then i use adaptac to make music cd's, discjuggler for dc games, and nero for vcd's. Do you know if it will let me do this with these programs. If so i have found a winner.

Yes you can use all those programs, but you will have to get all the latest versions of them.

toshiba 1002 -> 4/4/4/24 and teac has also a combo drive 8/8/8/32 I think
