Can I get a NTCS Patch instead of NTCS/PAL

I have read that the Pal/NTCS patch can cause the screen to roll (vertical not locking in). How does a person find a NTCS patch so this does not happen? I used a patch from Megagames .com for the NBA Shootout 2000. How can I change the patch so Pal does not work? I am learning and reading but advice is always the best!!

try the patch and if it does roll use and you can not find the right patch use cd clone if you burner is compatable you will not need to patch the game using this software if you have any other question email me and i will try to help you out the best you can [email protected]

for one he did not specify that he was tring to patch a game like if he has a pal playstation and he is tring to burn a ntsc game to work on his pal playstation then no it wont but if he is just tring to find a mod protection patch and has a stealth chip then there is no need to patch it and for most proctection clone will copy it so you do have to patch that is all i was saying so how about them apples

Thanks for your help..I went and got cd clone and everything is working great :-)
I do have a usa version of playstation (NTCS) so if I do run into the ntcs/pal patches problems , how do I make the proper patch to work?

no problem.ok i dont know if this is what you are after but i will give it a shot you only have to patch a game if it has proctection or if you are tring to copy a pal game to work on your ntcs playstation.if you do run into problems email me and i will do my best to find you the right patch for what ever game you are looking for email me and let me know if this helped [email protected]
