I beleive you need some "DVD RIPPING" software in order to get the film onto your hard-drive. I beleive also there is a way to get round the "region-coding" problem of import discs, but to convert them to a British format can take ages - even on a top-flight machine.

If you wish to view the film on a normal 74/80/99min cd-r, you'll have to convert the DVD format of the film (MPEG-2), to the lower-quality VideoCD or VCD format (MPEG-1). Here's a link for ripping info:

http://www.ultimateresourcesite.com/dvdripping/main.htm

..and here's a more general link:

If you decide to try and fill a 99min disc with VCD data be very careful - some writers do not support writing after 80min (which is called "over-burning"), which can permanently damage the lens in your writer. Better to use 2 discs.

Sorry I can't find any more info for you. Just have a look around the web and I'm sure you'll end up with something.

Happy days :-)
