Question neo 2.2 dvdr help

I have my ps2 chipped with a neo 2.2 and a gameshark 2 1.99b
im trying to play a dvdr of mgs2 ive followed the instuctions found on booting the cd using the double swap method but when i let go of reset the cd does not eject for me to swap the disc any help would be appriciated !!

Most likely pin 6 of the chip is not properly attached to the BIOS chip, or there is a short with the adjacent pin connected to pin 6 of the NEO2.2

Talking neo 2.2

I had the very same problem and the 2 wires kick my trey out i installed backwards my trey didnt kick out. I caught it by mistake puttin in new chip. But now I dont feel so stupid for buying that Pioneer burner. And I went out bought more dvd-r.

Do what charlie said and recheck the 2 wires for short or wrong location.
