what is the good setting

look this and send me a good setting please . its about diablo 2 exp pack L.o.D.

Both games are securom protected..but the L.o.D has ATIP check so the copy will not work on any cd/dvd recorder.If your writer writes subcode...be sure to check Do not repair subchannel data n the write options of cloneCd.This should work and work for most securom protected games.

Hard to understand but here i go...

use the hide media option in lclonecd. I don;t know if that game has ATip but try anyway. Alsoi don't think you need to tick Don't repair shubcannel data. i have the same drive as you and i have backed up securom before with it. LOD xpan. USes securom new.

So just use the same settings with out that other setting i mentioned.

I don't give the name but i'm sure these two guy are able to make good job but i need to know who have reason ???? thank a lot

Both of the messeges are pretty much the same. Both tell you to check the two Subchannel boxes and both say don't check Don't Repair Subchannel Data'.
If you download Clony this would have told you this as well.

The ATIP is a small section on every CD-R that holds the manufacturers name, length etc. This ATIP isn't present on pressed Cd's, so if there is ATIP present then it won't play. With 'Hide CD-R Media' enabled, it hides that the game is burned, and so you will be able to play it.
The first post says u can't play it in a burner and the second says to use Hide CDR Media. The game will work in burners as long as you have Hide CD-R media on in the Clone CD Tray.

I can't play or install game in my dvd with the backup dvd. At all time i want to play i start clone cd tray ? thank ghosthacker you explain very good i understand atip now and i want to know if is possible to play in my dvd drive

ok i have installed the original l.o.d and i can play but i can not install

with my backup cd . new securom work like this ? I try to install with the backup and he don't want to install . i install with my original and i can play after with my backup in dvd drive. I want to know if it's ok or normally i can install with my backup cd ? thank for your help

Its necessary that you have 4x speed in your burning prog when reading the original. Else the subchannel wont be readed well or it wont install

dvd's cannot read ATIP data. only burners can read this.

here's the big question - does your burner read subchannel data?

yes my burner can read subchannels . but i want to know why my dvd install my original cd with ATIP and not my backup and my backup have atip too . it's maybe my firmware on my drive ? I have a sony crx 140e with firmware 1.0n . it's good or not and where i can download new driver ? thank for your help
