ps xchange v2

ive got a boot disc which boots up ok. however, when i put the backup cd in and press start the disc starts to spin but the game doesnt load, with it staying on the "press start" screen.

i used several types of disc, and created the back ups using cdclone.

is it me or is it the ps xcahnge which is at fault! ?

thx

Make sure the lid sensor is being pressed, my nephew kept throwing away his games because he thought they didn't work and I noticed his PVC wasn't pushing down the lid sensor.

If your using the PVC sticker you can test to see if it's not being pressed by using a pen cap, leave the lid open and press down the sensor with the cap, if the game goes then you need to figure out away to reset the PVC.

If your syill having the same problem you'll need to exchange your disk.

If your sticker no longer sticks, try sticking it on the inside of the PSone, unscrew the top and put it over the sensor on the inside. This does void your 30 day warrante or what ever it is but it does work.
