Problems with Tennis 2k2

Hi!

I'm trying to burn Tennis 2k2, it's the echelon version. The game seems to work okay, but whenever I pick any of the female players, the game freezes in the loading screen. Has anyone else gotten this problem? Are there any patches for this?

Hi,

What speed are you burning the game at? Because before when I burned a game at 8X, or even 4X, my Dreamcast doesn't read the disc as well and it sometimes goes to the loading screen after playing the game for a while. Now, I burn my games at 2X and it has no problems ever since. Maybe try to burn at a slower speed.

I was originally burning at 12X. I tried at 2X and got the same problems. I'm using a new burner that I've never burned any DC games on before (an LG DVD/CDRW drive) -- tonight I'll try using my 'old faithful' drive (a SONY CRX-145[?]) and hopefully that will work.

Hi,

I remember that Tennis 2k2 was probably the first game that I burned after I got my Dreamcast, and it freeze on me during the "replay" movie. And then I tried a slower speed of burning, and it worked fine for me since for every other games.

I am wondering if it's your copy of Tennis 2k2, if it is corrupted or something. Does this problem happen to your other games too?
